Maybe this is the kind of thing we should be doing more often to remind ourselves that we truly do share One World. Putting human beings that we know and love in an environment we can also know from a shared photograph makes that “far away place” very real in our minds. If it is familiar; it is no longer foreign or abstract, and when we feel connected, we also feel protective. Wouldn't it be something if human beings could learn to feel like the entire planet is truly their home?
